2025年4月14日，北京大学公共卫生学院和中国卫生发展研究中心姚尧团队发表中国老年人群生活方式与遗传风险对认知健康影响的研究。该研究基于中国老年健康影响因素跟踪调查（CLHLS）前瞻性研究队列，评估我国老年人群饮食、吸烟、饮酒、体育锻炼、认知活动五种健康生活方式与APOE基因对于认知健康的影响。研究发现坚持4-5种健康的生活方式可以使65岁男性和女性获得“额外认知健康寿命年”分别达4.78年和5.26年，无论是否携带APOEε4等位基因，坚持更多健康的生活方式，都能获得相似的延长认知健康寿命的效果。这项成果让阿尔茨海默病的防治角度，从“疾病治疗”转向“健康维护”，证实了“可控因素比不可控因素更重要”，为我国老年人保持认知健康提供了有力的研究证据。
